8B carved spooky pumpkins

On Wednesday, the 30th of October, 8B celebrated Halloween by carving pumpkins in the school cafeteria. It is something we always do in 8th grade English and a fun way to get to know American holiday traditions. The students chose their groups and designed their pumpkins in advance. During the lesson they chatted, laughed, listened to music and really put some effort into making amazing Jack-o-lanterns. The results stayed in the cafeteria and spiced up the Halloween week for everyone! Thank you Virpi and all the kitchen staff for allowing us to carry out this project!
